Nilsson is a bookazine for kids aged 6-11, created and published by Iperborea.
It takes a leaf – but not a literal one! – from the storied magazines of yore, the ones kids woud wait for impatiently, store under their beds and read and re-read until the pages were coming apart. That tradition is revamped as to take into account the ever-evolving taste of readers, who will find in Nilsson a very smart companion, carefully crafted with a keen attention to detail, from the overall design by Alice Beniero down to the individual texts and illustrations, which showcase the best authors and artists working today in Italy and abroad.
Nilsson is full of short stories and comic strips, anecdotes, columns, pull-out inserts, games and hands-on activities, poems, and books, movies and music recommendations. Plus interviews, a veritable gold mine of jokes—and that’s just the beginning! We like to think that every issue will be read and marvelled at, and then treasured forever. Focusing on a different theme every three months, Nilsson is always an adventure: we’ll start by Playing, then we’ll venture into the Woods, we’ll discover Magic, then take off for Outer Space.
